Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Kasese
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our friendly guide will meet you and transfer you to Kasese, the gateway to the Rwenzori Mountains. Enjoy the scenic drive through terraced hills and local villages, and take in the warm Ugandan hospitality. Settle into your accommodation for a restful night, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Drive to Rwenzori National Park and Begin Trekking
After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to Rwenzori National Park. Once at the park entrance, you’ll meet your expert guides and porters. Gear up and embark on your first trek through lush montane forests, home to an array of wildlife. As you ascend, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Day 3: Trek to Nyabitaba Hut
Today, we’ll trek to Nyabitaba Hut (2,651m), a journey that takes you through the beautiful bamboo and afro-montane forest. Keep your eyes peeled for the unique flora and fauna that call this region home! Once we reach Nyabitaba Hut, you’ll have an opportunity to relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori range.

Day 4: Hike to John Matte Hut
Get ready for a challenging yet rewarding day as we trek to John Matte Hut (3,414m). The route takes you through the gorgeous heath and moorland, where you’ll encounter giant lobelias and the magical landscape of the Rwenzori. As you climb higher, the rewards are incredible vistas that will take your breath away!

Day 5: Ascend to Bujuku Hut
The trek to Bujuku Hut (3,962m) is one of the highlights of your journey! You’ll navigate through the mystical bogs and past stunning lakes. The panoramic views of the peaks will captivate your heart and soul. Once at Bujuku Hut, you’ll have time to relax and reflect on the day’s adventure.

Day 6: Summit the Margherita Peak
Today is the day we conquer the majestic Margherita Peak (5,109m)! Rise early for a thrilling ascent, navigating glaciers and rocky terrain with the help of our experienced guides. The feeling of standing at the summit will be utterly exhilarating! Afterward, we’ll descend to Bujuku Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Return to Kasese and Departure
After breakfast, we’ll begin our descent back to the park entrance, where a vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Kasese. Here, you can relax and celebrate your incredible achievement! If time permits, we’ll explore local markets or enjoy a farewell dinner.
